CONTEXT

  • Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Puri launched Swachh Survekshan League 2020 on 6 June 2019.
  • It will be conducted in three quarters of 2019 and the final quarter in 2020.
  • The results of the League will form part of Swachh Survekshan 2020, the 5th edition of the annual cleanliness survey of urban India to be conducted in January-February 2020.
